About the Role As a Product Designer at SingleFile.io, you'll be responsible for crafting exceptional user experiences that simplify complex workflows for law firms, corporations, and compliance professionals. Reporting to our Chief Product Officer, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and iterate on product solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. This is a remote role within a distributed team, ideal for a designer who thrives in dynamic environments and is committed to delivering user-centered design solutions. Key Responsibilities User-Centric Design: Lead the design process with a focus on understanding user needs and creating customer-centric solutions that align with SingleFile.io's mission. Rapid Prototyping & Iteration: Create rough sketches, low-fidelity wireframes, and prototypes to explore solutions and validate concepts early in the design process. UI/UX Design: Develop intuitive and scalable design solutions for complex workflows, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Customer Research & Insights: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and tests to gather insights on customer pain points and needs, and translate findings into actionable design improvements. Collaborative Design Process: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and the Chief Product Officer to translate the product vision into engaging, efficient user experiences. Remote Team Engagement: Actively participate in remote team meetings, design reviews, sprint planning, and cross-functional discussions to ensure alignment across product and engineering teams. Usability Testing & Iteration: Conduct usability testing and gather quantitative and qualitative feedback to iterate on designs and ensure the product remains aligned with user needs and business goals. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: 3-5 years of experience in B2B SaaS design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric design solutions for complex, data-heavy applications. A customer-centric mindset, with experience in conducting customer research and translating findings into actionable design insights. Strong UI/UX skills, with expertise in user interface design, information architecture, and UX principles. Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and using low-fidelity sketches to rapidly communicate ideas. Experience working in a remote team setting, with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members across different time zones. An analytical approach, with the ability to use data and feedback to inform design decisions. Problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex problems and develop creative, effective solutions. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experience can make you a more competitive candidate: Experience working in the legal compliance or financial services industries. Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD. Knowledge of front-end development principles and technologies. Experience with design systems and developing design guidelines.
