Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Principal Technical Program Manager to lead the execution of large-scale consumer-facing initiatives at Netflix. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for driving the development of fundamental technologies, architectures, and operations that power our streaming services. You will work closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities, prioritize projects, and deliver results. Key Responsibilities: Drive the execution of large-scale consumer-facing initiatives at Netflix, ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects. Influence the development of fundamental technologies, architectures, and operations that power our streaming services. Apply strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills to devise sound technical approaches to achieve business objectives. Identify the systems required to build new solutions, adjust roadmaps, and weigh relative priorities. Establish a clear plan for multiple teams to come together and successfully launch new experiences for Netflix members. Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems. Demonstrate exceptional listening skills, working independently and collaboratively as needed to drive results. You are a creative problem-solver, a strategic thinker, and a collaborative team player. You have a deep understanding of the technical landscape, with experience in consumer software, systems design, and architecture. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on consumer software, systems design, and architecture. Strong technical skills, with experience in low-latency streaming, hardware, and infrastructure. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into actionable insights. Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand business trade-offs and make informed decisions.
