About the Role: Pre-Licensed Insurance Agent and Customer Service Representative We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pre-Licensed Insurance Agent and Customer Service Representative to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina. As a Pre-Licensed Representative, you will utilize excellent decision-making skills and innovation to resolve complex consumer issues and respond to concerns while adhering to company guidelines. This role involves addressing challenging consumer issues in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic setting. Key Responsibilities: Resolve complex consumer issues and provide expert advice to first-level representatives, ensuring efficient and effective issue resolution. Assist policyholders with billing questions and concerns, offering personalized support and guidance. Provide support for any requested policy changes, ensuring seamless and accurate processing. Offer recommendations to policyholders and adjust as necessary, demonstrating a deep understanding of insurance products and services. Essential Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices. Over 18 years of age, with a High School Graduate or GED certificate. Must be located in South Carolina, with a valid work permit and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Logical problem-solving abilities, with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and software applications. Organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities. Ability to type at least 25 words per minute, with high accuracy and efficiency. Preferred Qualifications: Call Center experience preferred (6 months or more), with a strong understanding of call center operations and customer service principles. Familiarity with insurance products and services, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and guidelines. Previous experience in a similar role or industry, with a proven track record of success.
