About the Role: Physician Assistant We're seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll have the autonomy to practice at the top of your license, supported by our collaborative and dynamic work environment. This is a full-time, remote data entry opportunity with a competitive hourly salary of $25-$35. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary and family care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions, health counseling, and anticipatory guidance for our patients. Perform administrative duties, such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient flow, insurance verification, and payment collection, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. Take ownership of patient care, including scheduling appointments, conducting steering assessments, and ensuring positive patient health outcomes. Engage patients in their healthcare through services like health screenings, social determinants of health assessments, and chronic condition management, promoting a culture of wellness and preventive care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive care plan, ensuring seamless transitions and high-quality patient care. Essential Qualifications Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions. Order and administer vaccinations and injections, including COVID-19, flu, TB, and Depo, and provide evidence-based patient/parent immunization counseling and education. At least two years of clinically relevant experience or equivalent. Complete the Spot check certification test within 30 days of employment. Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation. Pass a FIT assessment and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires. Preferred Qualifications If under 1 year of work experience as an authorized provider, prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required. Education and Certification Graduate degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Practice license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role. Or, in select states, a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related Graduate degree or equivalent experience along with a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Practice license to practice in the role.
