Key Responsibilities: Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and performing pharmacy tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Process prescriptions, including data entry, labeling, and counting of medications. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Current licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in the state where you reside (requirements vary by state). Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision. Basic math skills, including ability to count and manage cash. Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting (up to 30 lbs). Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a retail or hospital setting. PTCB certification. Familiarity with pharmacy software and technology.
