About the Role As a Pharmacy Technician Representative - Accredo, you'll play a vital role in our mission to provide life-sustaining medications to patients with rare and chronic diseases. This remote opportunity allows you to work from the comfort of your own home, providing flexibility and work-life balance. You'll be responsible for assisting patients, insurance companies, and multiple departments to process prescription orders and ensure timely shipment of medications. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls, welcoming patients, gathering demographics, and arranging initial shipments. Create requests and make outbound calls to providers and doctors' offices for prescription requests. Perform data entry focused functions, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions. Investigate issues with pharmacists, doctors, and other healthcare providers to resolve problems and improve patient care. Provide guidance to patients about medication coverage and answer questions. Juggle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results. Requirements and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements: Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a call center environment. Customer Service experience required, with phone experience a plus. Valid Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration as required by state laws (AZ and PA). Tech-savvy with strong computer/data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products. High-speed internet with a wired Ethernet connection (mobile or hotspot environments not acceptable). Private and quiet workspace. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Compensation and Benefits We're offering a competitive hourly rate of $17-$26 per hour, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
