Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician II, Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate prescription processing, supporting team collaboration, and upholding performance excellence. This role is critical to advancing our mission to create innovative medications and expand access to affordable healthcare. Key Responsibilities Process new orders promptly and accurately, reviewing patient profiles and updating records using multiple software programs with strong attention to detail. Verify patient and prescription information for accuracy and transfer clarifications to the appropriate team as needed. Maintain compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act guidelines to protect patient information and ensure confidentiality. Exceed production standards and Key Performance Indicators for data entry processing while demonstrating reliability through excellent attendance and punctuality. Actively engage with team members to foster positive morale, assist in training new employees, and support a collaborative work environment. Essential Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pharmacy Tech Data Entry role or equivalent. High school diploma or GED required; college education preferred. Texas Board of Pharmacy- Pharmacy Technician license (must be an active license and not on probation). Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a thorough understanding of compounded medication orders. Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations, including rates, ratios, and percentages. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
