Position Summary We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Front End Pharmacy Technician. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will perform order entry tasks, collaborate with other team members in the medication dispensing process, and provide exceptional customer service to our patients and customers. A Day in the Life As a Front End Pharmacy Technician at blithequark, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including: Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely processing Provide dispensing pharmacist with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags Create and maintain accurate customer records The Team and Rewarding Benefits At blithequark, we provide care to those in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communications, and chronic care settings. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Required Qualifications Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in the long-term care industry PTCB National Certification Education Verifiable High School Diploma or GED Pay Range and Benefits The typical pay range for this role is $30.00 - $60.00 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
