About the Role As a Pharmacy Billing Adjudicator, you will play a critical role in our MAC Rx Billing department, ensuring the efficient processing of claims, resolving billing inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-term care pharmacy, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Process admissions, including demographics and insurance information, in a timely and accurate manner. Assist with customer billing inquiries, resolving issues in a courteous and professional manner. Work with residents to understand and resolve account balances and patient records. Ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA. Collaborate with clients to ensure the timely delivery of patient medications. Perform live claim adjudication, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of claims. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 1-3 years of experience in long-term care pharmacy, with a strong understanding of the adjudication process. Knowledge of Medicare Part D, public aid, and third-party insurances. Familiarity with Prior Authorizations and the ability to navigate complex insurance issues. A Pharmacy Technician License, with certification preferred. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision. Ability to work weekends and holidays, as required. Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you will ideally have: Experience with Framework LTC software. An Illinois Pharmacy Technician License. A proven track record of success in a long-term care pharmacy setting. Skills and Competencies The ideal candidate will possess: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
