Job Overview We're hiring part-time pet sitters and dog walkers to provide exclusive services to our clients in the Shoreline, Edmonds, and Lynnwood areas. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of pets, from dogs and cats to other small animals. Our services include dog walking, cat visits, and vacation pet sitting, and we're looking for individuals who are passionate about providing top-notch care to our furry friends. Key Responsibilities: Provide dog walking services to our clients, including 30-minute to 1-hour walks, Monday through Friday, between 10 am and 3 pm Offer cat visits and vacation pet sitting services to our clients, including feeding, playtime, and administering medication as needed Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing regular updates and photos of their pets Maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion when interacting with pets and their owners Be reliable, punctual, and dependable, with a positive attitude and a passion for pets Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you'll need to have: Experience in caring for pets, either professionally or through personal experience with friends and family Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with pets and their owners A positive attitude, with a passion for pets and a commitment to providing exceptional care Basic computer skills, including the ability to access the internet and email via a computer and smartphone Reliability, punctuality, and dependability, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to providing top-notch care Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or a related field Certification in pet first aid and CPR Experience with pets of all ages and breeds, including dogs, cats, and small animals Ability to lift 25 pounds and walk for extended periods High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in animal science or a related field preferred What We Offer At Fetch!
