Key Responsibilities The Payroll Data Entry Specialist will play a vital role in assisting with the preparation, distribution, and reporting processes, ensuring seamless payroll operations. The primary responsibilities of this entry-level position include: Reviewing time sheets, processing wage computations, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies, utilizing strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Maintaining compliance with established payroll policies and procedures, staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and internal guidelines to ensure adherence and mitigate risks. Verifying hours worked and pay adjustments, ensuring accuracy and fairness in payroll processing, and providing support to personnel with payroll-related inquiries. Computing wages and deductions, maintaining and updating payroll records, and producing, reviewing, and uploading quarterly reports for State and Government agencies, demonstrating a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail. Processing weekly taxes, managing positive pay, direct deposit, and pay cards, and coordinating W2 processing, ensuring timely and accurate completion of these critical tasks.
