Job Overview
In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support through phone and email, entering payroll data with precision, and processing payroll for our valued clients. As a Payroll Data Entry and Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring that their payroll needs are met with accuracy, efficiency, and a smile. Your expertise in data entry, customer service, and problem-solving will be essential in driving success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Data entry and import of data into our payroll system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
Reviewing data for completeness and accuracy, identifying potential issues and reporting them to customers in a timely manner
Calculating and processing payroll-related changes, including deductions, benefits, and other adjustments
Researching and escalating issues to our support team to resolve customer or system problems, providing timely and effective solutions
Verifying payroll output against reports, ensuring that our clients receive accurate and reliable payroll information
Providing exceptional customer service while handling inbound calls, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
Providing excellent customer service via email support, responding to customer emails in a timely and effective manner


Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

Call center experience is a plus, with a strong background in customer service and data entry
Strong data entry and phone-based support skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients and colleagues
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience using Microsoft Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), with the ability to learn our payroll system and other software applications


Nice-to-Haves
While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:

Previous experience in payroll processing or a related field
Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, including tax compliance and reporting requirements
Experience working in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction
