About the Role As a Patient Care Representative at Carrum Health, you'll be the primary point of contact for patients and providers, managing a high volume of service requests and ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of care. This is a full-time remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while being part of a dynamic and passionate team. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional patient care via telephone and other technology, ensuring patient satisfaction and resolving issues/concerns in a timely and professional manner. Research, identify, and problem-solve patient issues, verifying eligibility of service and placing call backs as required. Support the Patient Care Team in delivering a comprehensive and thoughtful patient experience, meeting and exceeding established service goals and business objectives. Adapt your communication style to persons representing diverse personal, professional, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Maintain a strong focus on quality assurance and data-driven outcomes, driving continuous improvement in patient care. What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in customer service, preferably in a call center, medical office/clinic, or institutional setting. We're looking for individuals with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to providing the highest level of service. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; college preferred. Minimum of one-year customer service experience in a call center, medical office/clinic, or institutional setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Talkdesk, and other standard applications. Strong "patient first" values and a commitment to providing empathetic, professional, and integrity-driven care. Ability to handle confidential information and adhere to HIPAA requirements. Preferred Qualifications Spanish speaking skills. Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment. Proficiency in multiple tech platforms and the ability to quickly learn new software.
