What You Will Do

As a Part-Time Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our operations running smoothly. Inventory Management


Receive incoming shipments and accurately put away inventory in designated storage locations
Organize and maintain warehouse spaces to ensure efficient workflow and easy access to products
Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies
Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or overages to the supervisory team
Utilize inventory management systems to track products throughout the fulfillment process


Order Processing and Packing


Retrieve customer orders and prepare them for packaging with precision and care
Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure safe transport of items
Pack orders efficiently while maintaining quality standards and minimizing waste
Label packages accurately with shipping information, barcodes, and tracking numbers
Inspect packed items to ensure they meet quality requirements and are free from damage


Shipping and Loading


Load boxes and packages into trucks for shipment using proper lifting techniques
Operate material handling equipment to transport goods within the facility
Organize truck loading areas to maximize space and ensure efficient loading processes
Work collaboratively with drivers and other team members to meet shipment deadlines
Ensure all shipping documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time


Technology and Equipment Operation


Use handheld scanners to read and process barcodes on products accurately
Navigate computer prompts and follow direction for various tasks in the fulfillment process
Operate power industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and turret trucks
Complete equipment training and certification provided free of cost by arenaflex
Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions immediately


Quality Assurance and Safety


Troubleshoot problems that arise during the fulfillment process and implement effective solutions
Ensure all products meet quality requirements before shipping
Adhere to strict safety protocols to protect yourself and your teammates
Follow all production standards regarding safety, quality, and fulfillment accuracy
Participate in daily safety meetings and share best practices with team members


Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This role is physically demanding and requires you to be on your feet for extended periods. You will be moving around the warehouse, operating equipment, and handling packages throughout your shift. Here is what you can expect:


Physical Activities: Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
Lifting Requirements: Lift up to 49 pounds regularly; push utility carts up to 60 pounds
Equipment Usage: Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around the facility
Stairs and Heights: Be comfortable going up and down stairs and working at heights up to 40 feet on a mezzanine where applicable
Warehouse Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with moving machinery including order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts
Temperature Variations: Even with climate controls, temperatures can vary between 60°F and 90°F in some areas; during hot days, temperatures can exceed 90°F in certain zones
Noise Levels: The warehouse can be noisy at times; hearing protection is provided when needed
