Position: Part-time Tutor/Clinician
About the Role
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic part-time tutors to join our team at the Lindamood-Bell Learning Center in Austin, TX. As a tutor, you will work closely with students of all ages to provide personalized instruction and support in reading and comprehension. This is a part-time position, requiring approximately less than 30 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours during peak periods.
Tutor Expectations
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
A passion for helping others reach their potential
Excellent reading, spelling, and comprehension skills
Basic computer skills and the ability to type notes about student performance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive and professional demeanor
Tutor Responsibilities
As a tutor at Lindamood-Bell Learning Center, your responsibilities will include:
Providing one-to-one and small group instruction, in-person or online, implementing specific lesson plans under the direction of Learning Center leadership
Facilitating the use of the curriculum provided for Lindamood-Bell Academy students
Interacting positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment
Managing client records electronically using a computer
