Job Summary We are seeking highly qualified and experienced part-time remote standardized test prep teachers to work with our students who are taking different standardized math tests and competing in math competitions. As a part-time remote standardized test prep teacher, you will cover multiple math topics included in the SSAT, SAT, HSAT, ACT, AMC, and other math competitions. You will work with middle school and high school age students, providing targeted practice and strategies to help them prepare for standardized testing. Key Responsibilities Teach and tutor middle school and high school age students in higher level math, including topics covered in standardized tests such as SSAT, SAT, HSAT, ACT, AMC, and other math competitions. Assist students in preparing for standardized testing by providing targeted practice and strategies. Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance the tutoring experience and engage students effectively. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Foster a positive learning environment that promotes confidence and motivation in students. Stay updated on educational best practices and advancements in relevant subject areas through ongoing research. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in math, math education, or a related field. Proven experience in tutoring or mentoring students in academic subjects. Strong knowledge of math concepts and curriculum for middle school and high school students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a remote setting and utilize digital tools and platforms. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with math competitions and standardized test prep. Teaching certification or TESOL certification. Proficiency in Mandarin.
