Key Responsibilities As a Human Resources Specialist, your key responsibilities will include: Providing support in a range of HR functions, encompassing compensation and benefits programs, employee life cycle management, and the implementation of policies. Addressing employment-related inquiries with discretion and confidentiality. Ensuring compliance with employment regulations while reviewing HR policies and procedures. Assisting in onboarding processes, employee recognition initiatives, and management of employee leave policies. Serving as a backup for biweekly payroll processing, managing electronic payroll systems and HRIS platforms. Compiling and analyzing data to create reports and presentations that support informed decision-making. Cultivating a positive work atmosphere that champions belonging, dignity, and justice. Required Skills To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for collaboration with diverse teams. Proficiency in payroll systems and HRIS platforms (preferably within a Mac environment). Exceptional attention to detail and strong judgment in problem-solving scenarios. Qualifications We're looking for candidates with: A minimum of 4 years of HR experience or a bachelor's degree in a business-related field combined with at least 2 years of HR experience.
