Key Responsibilities
Contribute directly to sales and margin objectives in assigned categories
Analyze critical data and integrate findings and recommendations into Category Plans, including ideal SKU mix, Extracare loyalty program, and special projects
Drive strategic execution of daily operational activities, such as works off-shelf plans, tracks promotional period, and performs present analysis to make corrective actions if necessary
Collaborate with an internal team of CVS experts in Inventory, Pricing, Promotion, Finance, Store Brands, Store Design, Marketing, and Store Operations
Analyze sales records and inventory levels of current stock
Create and maintain areas of strength for competitive analysis; seek out new competitive opportunities and make recommendations
Stay current with changes in the market
Research customer product preferences, supplier costs, and the competitive environment
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Working knowledge of retail math concepts and demonstrated application
Technical expertise in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; some Access or other database knowledge
Willingness to travel 5-10%
