As a remote data entry clerk, you will be part of a dedicated team that works together to achieve our goals and exceed customer expectations. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Part-Time Remote Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: * Receiving and processing inventory, including scanning and verifying product information * Selecting, packing, and shipping orders in a timely and efficient manner * Loading boxes into trucks for shipment, ensuring accurate and secure transportation * Using scanners to read bar codes on products, maintaining accurate inventory levels * Troubleshooting problems and ensuring product quality meets our high standards * Operating power industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or pallet drivers, and working at heights up to 35 feet * Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to strict safety and quality standards **Requirements and Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred * 1-2 years of experience in a data entry or warehouse environment; experience with Amazon or similar e-commerce platforms a plus * Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, push utility carts up to 60 pounds, and stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts * Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable) and navigate stairs (where applicable) * Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results * Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and open communication **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable for this role: * Experience with inventory management software and systems * Knowledge of Amazon or similar e-commerce platforms * Familiarity with warehouse management systems and processes * Certification in forklift operation or other power industrial truck (PIT) equipment * Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote data entry clerk at blithequark, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
