Key Responsibilities Contribute directly to sales and margin objectives in allocated categories Analyze critical data and integrate findings and recommendations into Category Plans (e.g., optimal SKU mix, loyalty programs, special projects) for marketing programs Drive strategic execution of daily assortment activities (e.g., works off-shelf plans, tracks promotional period, and performs present analysis to make corrective actions if necessary) Collaborate with an internal team of arenaflex experts in Inventory, Pricing, Promotion, Finance, Store Brands, Store Design, Marketing, and Store Operations Analyze sales records and inventory levels of current stock Create and maintain areas of strength for competitive analysis; seek out new competitive opportunities and make recommendations Stay up-to-date with changes in the market Research customer product preferences, supplier costs, and the competitive environment Essential QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and have working knowledge of retail math concepts and demonstrated application.Technical expertise in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and some Access or other database knowledge is also required.
