Provide excellent customer service, responding to client and provider inquiries, including claims payment, status, and coverage information
Interpret client health plan protocols and review claims status, providing updates to members as needed
Maintain accurate and complete call documentation, ensuring that all interactions are thoroughly recorded and up-to-date
Return incoming calls, responding to voicemails, and following up on pending issues
Collaborate with internal teams, including claims, provider relations, and operations, to resolve complex issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
Participate in additional projects and assist with mailing projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities
Essential Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume healthcare call center, with a strong understanding of healthcare claims review and health insurance principles
Availability to work part-time hours, with a minimum requirement of 20-24 hours per week, between 8 AM and 6 PM Central Time
Residency in the CST, MST, or PST time zones, with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace that meets our technical requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
Proficiency in multiple systems, including Teams, Excel, and Jira, with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies and software applications
