Compensation & Work Schedule


Competitive Pay: Up to $13/hour, with opportunities for performance-based increases
Part-Time Flexibility: Up to 28 hours per week with flexible scheduling options
Minimum Commitment: Must commit to at least 15 hours per week to maintain your position
Shift Availability: Shifts range from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM EST, providing various morning, afternoon, and evening options

Key Responsibilities

As a Chatroom Operator at arenaflex, you will be responsible for reviewing and responding to inbound text messages using pre-set canned responses. However, your role extends far beyond simply clicking buttons. You'll be expected to enhance these canned responses to add context, warmth, and a distinctly human touch. Here's what a typical interaction might look like:


A consumer messages, "Cant now, werkin"
Your role would be to categorize this message accurately and select the appropriate response, such as clicking the "I'm at work" button
Your accuracy is critical—your responses directly help train and improve our AI model, making it smarter and more effective over time


Additional responsibilities include:


Reviewing and responding to inbound text messages using pre-set canned responses while maintaining conversation quality
Enhancing canned responses to add context and a human touch—for example, if a user says they're sick, you might add: "Sorry to hear that! Get well soon!"
Meeting speed goals based on the complexity of each interaction—no two conversations are exactly the same
Finding the right balance between delivering high-quality support and efficiently managing conversation flow
Maintaining low wait times and minimizing backlog through efficient time management
Ensuring a high level of response quality, as all interactions are evaluated using a 1-4 rating scale for accuracy and effectiveness
Adhering to quality standards and continuously improving your performance based on feedback
Participating in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on new response templates and best practices
Communicating effectively with team leads about any challenges or suggestions for improvement

Strong Typing Skills: We require proficient typing abilities—no "hunt and peck" typing allowed. You should be comfortable typing at a moderate to fast speed while maintaining accuracy
Excellent Grammar and Spelling: Clear, error-free written communication is essential in this role
Logical Reasoning Skills: You must have the ability to understand user intent even when messages contain typos, slang, or ambiguous phrasing, and respond appropriately based on context
Clear and Professional Written Communication: Your responses represent arenaflex and our clients, so professionalism is paramount
Reliability and Responsibility: You must be dependable and adhere to your designated schedule consistently
Access to Stable Internet: You need a secure, private internet connection (minimum speeds will be verified)


Preferred Qualifications:


Previous experience in customer service, chat support, or text-based communication roles
Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts
Experience working remotely or in a distributed team environment
Knowledge of conversational marketing or SMS marketing platforms
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple conversations simultaneously
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
