Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Remote Accounting Associate to join our team. As an Accounting Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting processes, and providing exceptional service to our internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Process transactions, including invoices, payments, and journal entries, in a timely and accurate manner
Provide superb client service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
Collaborate with internal partners, stakeholders, and vendors to identify and implement process improvements, mitigate defects, and drive efficiencies
Manage customer inquiries, researching and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner
Post invoices and other financial documents in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Research and analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement, providing recommendations for process enhancements and efficiencies


Required Qualifications

0-2 years of accounting experience, with a focus on accounts payable or a related field
Attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on quality and precision
Proven ability to learn new systems, applications, and processes, with a strong aptitude for technology and innovation
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers


Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Experience with accounts payable or related accounting functions
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for process improvements


Education

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
