Job Highlights and Responsibilities As a Part-Time Loader/Cart Associate, your primary responsibilities will include: Providing exceptional customer service by being friendly, professional, and engaging with customers to help answer questions and address their needs. Retrieving, loading, and replenishing merchandise to ensure that our shelves are always stocked with the products our customers need. Assisting customers and staff in moving merchandise safely, which may involve lifting and carrying heavy objects. Maintaining a clean and safe store environment, which includes ensuring that the sales floor, stockroom, and other areas are organized and free from hazards. Key Responsibilities and Expectations In this role, you will be expected to work a flexible schedule, which may include morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, as well as weekends and holidays. You will be required to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and may be required to lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance. Additionally, you will be expected to use common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets, to perform your duties. What We're Looking For in a Candidate We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and maintaining a clean and safe store environment. The ideal candidate will have: At least 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information. At least 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets. Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as may be required by law. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: At least 6 months of retail experience. At least 6 months of experience as a Loader at any home improvement or hardware retailer. At least 6 months of experience working in any department at a Lowes retail store. At least 6 months of retail merchandising experience, including performing Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping. At least 6 months of experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.
