**Experienced Part-Time Evening Housekeeper – Remote Work Opportunity with Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital**

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Evening Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment throughout all hospital departments, patient areas, and support areas. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment, while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. Responsibilities Perform the 8-step cleaning procedures, including daily cleaning, discharge cleaning, bed making, wall spots, toilet cleaning, high and low dusting, and terminal cleaning. Complete work from previous shifts if needed, report all incomplete assignments and maintenance issues. Clean up all organic body waste, blood, and body fluids, feces, sputum, etc., as instructed by the supervisor or team leader. Hang cubical curtains, shower curtains, and window curtains. Perform discharge cleaning, disinfect, and/or sanitize poles, pumps, and other patient equipment. Perform all Environmental Services-related tasks and demonstrate the ability to follow department guidelines related to the work. Perform basic and heavier cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods. Clean patient equipment as requested by supervisor, including beds and all room furnishings. Assist in manpower support for office and/or related moves, special conference room set-ups, and any other occasions as required. Ability to perform cleaning of emergency spills when observed and/or upon request. Requirements High school education or equivalent preferred. Must have the ability to understand and converse in English at a level that allows safe, efficient performance of the job. Be able to lift 25-50 pounds. Requires physical demands, ability to stand for long periods, bending, stooping, and lifting. Competent in using proper chemicals for proper tasks. Ability to learn and demonstrate new procedures related to the healthcare industry. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
