Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for providing inbound, outbound, and email response support to shareholders, addressing their concerns and questions, and directing them on how to vote in their best interests. You will be working on a contested proxy meeting campaign, where one side has expressed dissatisfaction with the current management and is seeking to replace them with new board members. Your goal will be to communicate the importance of ignoring misinformation and to reassure shareholders that the current management has their best interests in mind.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other communications from shareholders, addressing their concerns and questions in a professional and courteous manner
Direct shareholders on how to vote in their best interests, providing clear and concise instructions and support
Communicate the importance of ignoring misinformation and reassure shareholders that the current management has their best interests in mind
Work collaboratively with the National Campaigns Unit team to ensure that all communications are accurate, timely, and effective
Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling times, response rates, and customer satisfaction scores
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a financial services or campaign support environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with shareholders and provide clear and concise information
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Windows 10 or 11, and the ability to use USB headsets and other equipment as required

Experience working in a contested proxy meeting environment, or similar campaign support role
Knowledge of financial services and shareholder communications, including proxy meetings and voting procedures
