Key Responsibilities Screening and Sound Load Management: Work with the sound load up, screening and selecting the most suitable sound cuts for ESPN Radio productions. Research and Material Gathering: Research sports data and gather materials necessary for radio productions, including creating story ideas and providing research materials for interviews. Control Board Operation: Operate the control board during radio productions, ensuring smooth execution of shows. Associate Producer Role: Occasionally fill in as an associate producer for radio productions and webcasts, contributing to creative ideas and show production. Collaboration with ESPN Radio Makers: Assist ESPN Radio makers with guest booking, delivering show elements, and providing support during productions. Imaging Group Collaboration: Work with the Imaging group on promotions and show production, contributing to innovative ideas. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as communications, broadcasting, or a related field. Sports Knowledge: Strong knowledge of sports, including NFL, NBA, CFB, MLB, and other sports. News Judgment: Ability to demonstrate sound news judgment, selecting the most relevant and engaging stories for radio productions. Technical Skills: Familiarity with audio editing software and control board operation. Preferred Qualifications Industry Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in a commercial, local, or organization radio office.
