About the Role
The Advanced Platforms Data Insights group at arenaflex is seeking a talented ML Data Specialist to join the Product and Client Analysis Team. This team is passionate about pioneering the next generation of analytical solutions working with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Planning departments.
In this role, you will serve as a critical member of a data-driven team to drive the research, assessment, improvement, implementation, and evaluation of analytical solutions that are essential to maintaining our business success. This position involves transforming the massive amounts of data generated by client searches, application content, and marketplace context into business insights that enhance the end-client experience while driving discovery and efficiency for application developers.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze vast datasets derived from user searches, application content, and marketplace context to extract meaningful business insights that improve customer experience and drive developer success
Machine Learning Development: Build and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems and enhance product capabilities
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, ever-evolving environment alongside product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders
Data Pipeline Management: Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and efficiency for analytical purposes
Dashboard Creation: Develop informative dashboards and visualizations that communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Quantitative Analysis: Conduct complex quantitative analyses including regression, classification, clustering, and time-series forecasting
A/B Testing: Design, implement, and analyze A/B experiments to measure product improvements and feature impacts
Business Translation: Translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate analytical findings to influence product strategy
Big Data Processing: Handle and analyze large-scale datasets efficiently using modern data processing frameworks
Innovation: Stay current with emerging data science technologies and methodologies, proposing innovative approaches to solve business challenges
Essential Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field required; Master's degree preferred
Experience: Minimum 6 years of professional experience in data science, preferably in the digital advertising or product analytics space
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
Proficiency with data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery
Experience with streaming data processing tools such as Apache Spark/Flink
Knowledge of visualization tools including Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms
Analytical Skills: Strong foundation in statistical analysis, including regression, classification, clustering, and time-series analysis
Communication: Ability to present complex analytical findings in a clear, compelling manner to both technical and executive audiences
Project Management: Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with clickstream data analysis and A/B experimentation in digital advertising environments
Background in product analytics with hands-on experience optimizing user engagement and conversion metrics
Familiarity with database modeling and data warehousing principles
