Job Summary We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Part-time Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team in Anaheim, California. As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our database by entering new and updated customer and account information. This is a part-time position that requires working for less than 4 hours a day, with a competitive hourly salary commensurate with experience. Job Description The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for preparing and sorting documents for data entry, entering data into database software, and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data being inputted. You will also perform regular checks to ensure the accuracy of the data being entered into the system, resolve discrepancies in information, and obtain further information for incomplete documents. Additionally, you will create data backups as part of a contingency plan, respond to information requests from authorized members, and test new database systems and software updates. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and sorting documents for data entry, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date. Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data being inputted, with a high level of attention to detail. Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents, using excellent problem-solving skills. Responding to information requests from authorized members, providing excellent customer service and support. Testing new database systems and software updates, staying up-to-date with the latest technology and trends. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk. You should also have experience with MS Office and data programs, as well as familiarity with administrative duties. Additionally, you should have experience using office equipment, like fax machines and scanners, and have excellent typing speed and accuracy. A high school diploma is required, and additional computer training or certification will be an asset. Essential Qualifications: Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk. Experience with MS Office and data programs. Familiarity with administrative duties. Experience using office equipment, like fax machines and scanners. Typing speed and accuracy. Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Attention to detail. Confidentiality. High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with others.
