About the Role We're seeking two part-time Customer Support Specialists (CSS) to join our team in Connecticut. As a CSS, you'll be an integral part of our CT rides project, providing exceptional customer service to commuters and stakeholders. You'll work on weekends, with shifts from 7am to 6pm Eastern Time, and be responsible for delivering accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries. Key Responsibilities * Provide polite, responsive, and accurate telephone, email, and web-based customer service support * Develop familiarity with transportation services in Connecticut, including rail services, bus routes, and other travel options * Multi-task across multiple web-based and printed sources to locate relevant transportation information * Respond to inbound telephone inquiries, transfer calls to related services when necessary, and use Live Chat to respond to customer inquiries online * Monitor multiple email accounts and provide written responses to inquiries * Compile and issue time-sensitive service alerts via multiple communication channels * Create customized commute plans based on individual travel needs * Conduct outbound follow-up calls to provide a second level of customer service * Perform administrative tasks to support outreach and marketing teams * Communicate with transportation providers to gather and update route and schedule services * Utilize CMS and other computer programs and office equipment to accomplish assigned tasks Requirements and Qualifications Minimum Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent * Two years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred Qualifications * Previous customer service experience * Experience using Microsoft Office or Gsuite products What We Offer * Competitive hourly rate: $19.57 - $34.24 per hour, based on location and individual qualifications * Comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability benefits, paid time off, leaves of absence, and more * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic and supportive work environment * Collaborative and inclusive culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion Why Join blithequark? * We're a global team driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world * We offer a wide range of career opportunities across various industries and geographies * We're committed to fostering a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion * We provide a robust global well-being program to support our employees' physical and mental health How to Apply If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a positive impact on people's lives, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
