**Job Summary**

As a Part-Time Customer Support Representative, you will be the face of Southwest Airlines, providing top-notch service to our customers at the ticket counter, baggage claim, and other airport locations. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about our flights, fares, and services. This is a remote work opportunity, with a competitive hourly rate of $27.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring a positive experience for all
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to flights, fares, baggage, and other travel-related matters
* Operate a modernized retail location system, including handling transactions, processing payments, and balancing daily sales
* Manage customer complaints and issues, including oversells, delayed or cancelled flights, lost or damaged baggage
* Provide accurate and timely information to customers, including flight schedules, fares, and travel requirements
* Complete forms and reports as required by the organization
* Write anomaly and complaint reports as needed
* Perform other work duties as assigned by management

**Essential Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to type and use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job
* Ability to understand records, follow procedures, learn and comprehend tagging methodology, rules, and guidelines
* Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances
* Ability to complete the Customer Support Specialist training program with an 80% or higher average and pass the assessment period
* Knowledge of hazardous situations and ability to handle crises on a case-by-case basis
* Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve fast turnaround of aircraft
* Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance, understanding the Ground Tasks Worker Handbook and Work Arrangement
* Ability to perform all job duties within a limited space
* Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in-person, and on public address systems
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to communicate information and guidelines verbally or through radio equipment

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of airline operations and procedures
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Bilingual or multilingual skills
