About the Role
We are seeking an experienced part-time customer support professional to join our team in Phoenix, USA. Key Responsibilities

Service inbound calls while engaging and conversing with entrepreneurs and managers, learning about their needs, and recommending the right American Express SBS products
Convey high levels of product and service knowledge to communicate relevant product features, benefits, and other aspects of American Express Small Business Services
Continuously develop key selling skills, including building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling objections, and closing sales
Provide exceptional customer care by responding to questions about accounts in a high-volume, structured customer care environment
Document important record information according to established policies and procedures
Demonstrate integrity: Comply with all regulatory and compliance rules related to servicing and sales practice


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Customer support experience (2 years+) with a focus on building customer loyalty through excellent listening, consultative relationship building, and strong written and verbal communication
Proven results in a customer care and sales environment (2 years+)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the capability to multitask and navigate in an online environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; education benefits available


Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
