Some of your key responsibilities will include: * Welcoming customers to blithequark and delivering friendly and professional customer service * Assisting customers with locating and handling merchandise * Down stocking merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies * Processing orders and deliveries accurately to ensure customers receive merchandise as expected and on time * Cross-functionally training in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service * Preparing merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds) * Guiding customers through shopping or checkout * Completing other duties as assigned **Key Responsibilities** * Welcome customers to blithequark, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service * Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise * Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies * Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time * Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service * Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds) * Guide customers through shopping or checkout * Complete other duties as assigned **Minimum Qualifications** * 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information * 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets * Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction) * Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties * Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation **Preferred Qualifications** * 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience * Bi-lingual skills * Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials) **Lowes Commitment to Growth and Teamwork** At blithequark, we are committed to growth and teamwork, both within our company and in the community.
