Job Summary As a Part-Time Customer Service/Sales Lead at blithequark, you'll be responsible for overseeing and stimulating associates to provide exceptional customer service, while setting a positive example and embodying our company philosophy and core values. You'll prioritize friendliness, speedy checkout processes, and outstanding customer service delivery, while interacting proactively with customers to create a pleasant shopping environment. Key Responsibilities Lead by Example : Model blithequark's core values, company philosophy, and back-of-house standards and execution strategies for the rest of the receiving team. Drive Customer Satisfaction : Drive improvement of friendliness, speed of checkout, and customer feedback surveys by maintaining a customer-first focus and delivering a consistently great experience to all our customers with a high level of professionalism. Maitain a Clean and Orderly Store Environment : Maintain a neat and orderly front-end area, troubleshooting issues with registers and transactions. Coordinate Schedules and Breaks : Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence. Collaborate with Management : Work closely with the Assistant Store Manager and Customer Service Supervisor to achieve sales goals, improve customer satisfaction, and develop team members. Analyze Sales Data and Customer Feedback : Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction. Develop and Train Team Members : Develop and train team members to provide exceptional customer service, achieve sales goals, and embody blithequark's core values and company philosophy. Requirements To be successful as a Part-Time Customer Service/Sales Lead at blithequark, you'll need: Availability for a Flexible Work Schedule : Availability for a flexible work schedule that may entail early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Physical Capability : Physical capability to lift and transport boxes exceeding 40 lbs. and be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods. Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills : Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, associates, and management. Retail Industry Experience : Previous experience in the retail industry, preferably in a customer service or sales leadership role. Basic Math Skills and Accuracy : Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash, operating a point-of-sale system, and performing basic math calculations.
