Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Part-Time Customer Service Agent to join our team at Delta Airlines. As a Ticketing and Baggage Handling Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, ensuring seamless ticketing and baggage handling processes, and upholding the highest standards of safety and security. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist customers with ticketing and baggage handling processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. Utilize computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets, as well as manage the registration process for customers. Handle baggage handling tasks, including labeling and lifting, while maintaining a high level of safety and security awareness. Practice security-conscious behaviors in all operational cycles and systems, adhering to Delta's strict safety protocols. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless operations, providing exceptional customer service and support. Perform other duties as assigned, including working in open areas, handling unaccompanied minors and disabled travelers, and representing the airline in a professional manner. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to lift bags or objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift bags or objects weighing between 50 and 70 pounds. Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications. Ability to work a fixed or rotating schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, ticketing, or baggage handling. Knowledge of airline operations, safety protocols, and security procedures. Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken. Ability to work in a multicultural environment, with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
