Key Responsibilities and Duties As a Concierge Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support to our members and providers. Your key duties will include: Responding to telephone and email inquiries from members and providers within defined service standards Negotiating with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out of network providers Assisting members with benefits and healthcare questions Documenting all calls received in a system-based call log Building relationships with internal and external customers Utilizing independent judgment in decision making and problem solving Multi-tasking and anticipating potential needs/problems Requirements and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: Minimum HS Diploma/GED, with 2 years of college or higher education preferred One year of customer service or call center experience in a healthcare-related role, with medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience preferred Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus Patient and able to handle difficult situations tactfully and diplomatically Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion Proficient with Microsoft applications, strong computer skills, and computer navigation Excellent data entry and typing skills Knowledge of provider organizations and networks Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates and ability to effectively negotiate rate structures Strong analytical and research skills Medical terminology and understanding of self-funded health benefits are a plus Claim processing skills, insurance verification, or pre-certification experience are also a plus Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
