Job Summary We are currently seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician to work with children diagnosed with ASD in a remote setting. As a Behavior Technician, you will be responsible for implementing ABA therapy plans, working one-on-one with children, and collaborating with parents to ensure the best possible outcomes. Key Responsibilities As a Behavior Technician with B.E.S.T. Services, your key responsibilities will include: Implementing ABA therapy plans, including developing and maintaining behavioral skills and reducing problem behaviors Working one-on-one with children diagnosed with ASD, using evidence-based ABA techniques and strategies Collaborating with parents and caregivers to ensure parental participation and engagement in therapy sessions Maintaining accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, including progress notes and data collection Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA therapy Working collaboratively with other B.E.S.T. Services team members to ensure seamless delivery of services Requirements To be successful as a Behavior Technician with B.E.S.T. Services, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: A high school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, special education) preferred Reliable form of transportation and ability to travel to client homes or other locations as needed BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification preferred Ability to lift 50 pounds (child) and participate in physical activities with children (e.g., running, playing) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with children, parents, and other team members Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable for this role: Previous experience working with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities Knowledge of ABA therapy principles and practices, including behavioral skills training and data collection Experience with RBT certification and training Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to collect and analyze data to inform therapy decisions Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Benefits and Compensation As a Behavior Technician with B.E.S.T.
