As a Part-Time Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by providing administrative support to our dedicated team.

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our administrative support team, you will provide critical support to our staff, including data entry, accounting, and administrative tasks. This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while still being an integral part of our team.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Part-Time Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

* **Data Entry and Accounting**: Use spreadsheets or databases to organize information and produce standard reports; prepare complex disbursement forms, such as check requests, travel forms, cash sheets, and journal entries; compile and maintain reports and financial statements; and reconcile ledgers.
* **Administrative Support**: Greet visitors, maintain and administer safety procedures in secured environments; set up accounts; reconcile daily receipts or accounts receivable/payable; identify discrepancies and make corrections; collect required documents; prepare expense vouchers and/or invoices.
* **Procurement and Logistics**: Verify requests for goods and services against County contracts and funding sources; order goods or services and follow-up/resolve discrepancies; ensure delivery; and ensure appropriate routing and approval of purchase requests.
* **Training and Development**: Establish, modify, and maintain a system for tracking the progress of work that is the responsibility of senior management; train new employees; provide and explain relevant policies and procedures; and compose routine correspondence on behalf of management.
* **Scheduling and Coordination**: Schedule and cancel appointments; maintain calendars; schedule rooms for classes, meetings, and conferences; coordinate audio visual and training equipment; type complex documents of a technical nature; and proofread for spelling and grammar.
* **Payroll Processing**: Verify timesheets, find, research, and provide resolution to payroll discrepancies; complete and verify data entry; distribute paychecks; provide information and answer questions from staff regarding payroll issues; maintain attendance and leave tracking records; and act as department/agency/functional resource in data management systems.

**Essential Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Two years of administrative support experience
* Associate's Degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred)
* Experience can substitute for education, and education can substitute for experience

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Experience working in a healthcare or social services setting
* Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Experience with data entry and accounting software
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
