Key Responsibilities As an Order Processing and Customer Fulfillment Associate, your key responsibilities will include: Managing inventory levels and ensuring that products are accurately stocked and easily accessible to customers Processing orders and preparing products for delivery, including inspecting and verifying invoices against loaded merchandise Providing exceptional customer service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner Collaborating with other team members to ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, and that customer expectations are met Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, including adhering to safety protocols and procedures for lifting and moving merchandise Utilizing technology, including computers and mobile devices, to manage inventory, process orders, and communicate with customers and colleagues Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic operations Proficiency in using computers and mobile devices, including data entry, retrieval, manipulation, and output Minimum of 6 months of experience in a retail or customer service environment, with a focus on inventory management, order processing, and customer fulfillment Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance, and to lift objects that exceed 25 pounds with or without assistance Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, and to be flexible with scheduling Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Practical knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, order processing, and customer fulfillment Experience working in a home improvement or hardware store environment, with a focus on departments such as lawn and garden, kitchen, plumbing, or electrical Experience inspecting, transporting, and loading/unloading materials from vehicles Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process orders and manage inventory Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving results Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve issues and improve processes Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving common goals and objectives Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
