Job Summary As an Order Builder, you will be responsible for performing a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming product, picking and filling orders from stock, stacking and wrapping product, and building pallets. You will work independently using a voice-controlled system to select full-case dry or cool products in a multi-temperature warehouse environment, utilizing powered material handling equipment. Key Responsibilities Safely and accurately select customer orders, free of damage, using a voice-controlled system and powered material handling equipment. Build orders according to assigned load tickets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Shrink wrap and label orders, and move completed orders to the loading dock or trailer. Use powered industrial equipment, such as a forklift, electric pallet jack, or walkie-rider, to perform tasks. Accurately receive inbound products, replenish and manage inventory as needed, and perform pre-shift equipment checks. Perform basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe environment, such as clearing aisles of debris and stacking empty pallets. Observe all safety policies and procedures to meet productivity requirements and ensure a safe working environment. Other projects or duties as assigned by management. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, preferably with experience operating powered material handling equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete tasks. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Valid driver's license or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience with voice-controlled systems and powered material handling equipment. Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control principles. Certification in forklift operation or other powered industrial equipment. Previous experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
