About the Role As an Online Remote Walmart Shopping Team Member, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for reviewing orders, locating and packaging merchandise, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Fulfills customer orders by reviewing orders, locating, preparing, and packaging merchandise, and ensuring the accuracy of orders prior to pick up. Provides customer service by acknowledging customers, identifying their needs, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting products and services. Helps generate new business and associated revenue by actively promoting department services and offerings to customers, responding to customer inquiries and requests, and soliciting feedback from customers about their online shopping experience. Makes appropriate product substitutions and consults with customers as needed to ensure satisfaction. Follows up on out-of-stock merchandise and resolves any issues that may arise. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in e-commerce or retail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately fulfill customer orders. Basic computer skills and familiarity with e-commerce platforms. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered advantageous: Previous experience working with Walmart or other e-commerce platforms. Knowledge of customer service software and technology. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends. Experience in a remote or virtual call center environment.
