As an online Chinese language teacher, you'll be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, teaching Chinese language and culture, and providing feedback and support to your student.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Create engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs and interests of your student
* Teach Chinese language and culture to students of all ages and levels
* Provide feedback and support to your student to help them improve their language skills
* Use technology to facilitate online learning, including video conferencing and online learning platforms
* Communicate regularly with your student and their parents to ensure that they are meeting their language goals
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in language instruction
**Essential Qualifications**
* Native speaker of Chinese or equivalent language proficiency
* Teaching degree or certification in language instruction
* Experience as an online trainer or language instructor
* Availability to tutor twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. (Utah time)
* Own computer and fast broadband connection
* Ability to commit to a 50-hour course (50 x 1-hour sessions)
