Key Responsibilities Direct and Coordinate Production Activities : Oversee the manufacturing department during the night shift, ensuring that production schedules are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. Monitor Performance and Optimize Production : Monitor the performance of manufacturing employees and equipment to ensure production meets or exceeds schedules while minimizing waste. Develop and Implement Manufacturing Plans : Develop weekly, monthly, and annual manufacturing plans and communicate them to subordinates and peers. Lead Safety Initiatives and Ensure Compliance : Lead safety initiatives targeting zero recordable injuries and ensure compliance with safety procedures. Ensure Product Quality and Regulatory Compliance : Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure product quality meets requirements and follow up on inspections and audits. Develop and Implement Standard Operating Procedures : Develop and implement Manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures and train employees accordingly. Collaborate with Management : Work with management to ensure roles are organized and communicated effectively. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: Bachelor's Degree or Related Field Experience : A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Manufacturing and Food Industry Experience : Five plus years of related experience in manufacturing and the food industry. Strong Working Knowledge of Food Manufacturing Processes : A strong understanding of food manufacturing processes and quality assurance principles. Leadership and Communication Skills : Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Beverage and/or Aseptic Experience : Experience in the beverage and/or aseptic manufacturing industry. Lean Manufacturing Practices : Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, TPM, or Six Sigma. Ceridian Software Experience : Experience with Ceridian software.
