Job Overview The Thought Leader Liaison will play a critical role in supporting key US Commercial Strategic Imperatives for the argenx portfolio. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will work closely with national and regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to drive results in two main areas: KOL Engagement and Impact Drivers. Your expertise in neurology and commercial strategy will enable you to navigate complex environments, identify growth opportunities, and develop effective solutions to drive business success. Key Responsibilities Identify, cultivate, and maintain long-standing relationships with national and regional KOLs in support of argenx therapeutic areas, including commercial speaker bureau faculty and advisors. Develop and execute KOL engagement plans, including profiling, influence-mapping, and communication strategies to drive commercial success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Medical Science Liaisons, to refine positioning, disease, and branding campaigns, and assist in the development of strategies and messaging to drive treatment education. Attend and coordinate regional and national congresses to support marketing initiatives, identify and select product theatres, develop collaborations, and assist in personnel education. Manage speaker bureau activities, including identifying, contracting, and training qualified promotional speakers, and assessing program effectiveness and providing coaching to speakers. Facilitate and execute commercial advisory boards, including identifying key advisors and recruiting KOLs for national and regional faculty and speaker opportunities. Identify and develop hard-to-access Academic Institutions and Health Systems to address policy and business issues, formulary decisions, and create access and advocacy. Collaborate with field partners to execute strategies and identify immediate growth opportunities and potential risk areas within chosen channels. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong scientific acumen, leadership skills, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You should be able to demonstrate fluency in articulating complex scientific concepts and data, and have a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding expectations in assigned responsibilities. Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent, with an advanced health science degree being a plus. At least 10 years of combined neurology or related industry experience, with marketing or clinical experience in the same or related therapeutic area being a plus. A minimum of 5 or more years of work experience in one or more of the following: clinical liaison, thought leader management, key account management, or clinical sales. Strong understanding of the laws, regulations, and rules governing the pharmaceutical industry. Ability to work well in large and small teams, with a strong aptitude for effectively working with cross-functional teams. Effective collaborator with a variety of technical expertise and backgrounds. Ability to travel 60%-70%.
