As a Network Engineer at Workwarp, you'll play a critical role in supporting our business customers, designing and delivering custom-managed services, and driving our continued growth and success. Key Responsibilities Support new and existing ISP/MSP business customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of their network-related issues. Work on supporting business data circuits, SDWAN Networks, VoIP services, VPNs, Managed Routers, Firewalls, and other network infrastructure. Design, deliver, and maintain various custom-managed services that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring seamless service delivery. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance our network services. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as a Network Engineer at Workwarp, you'll need: A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, with a strong foundation in computer networking principles. 3-5 years of related experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the ISP/MSP industry. Command line experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, or similar networking equipment. Firewall configuration experience, particularly with Fortinet. A solid understanding of BGP, OSPF, and VRRP routing protocols. Experience with basic routers/firewalls, NAT (Network Address Translation), and COS/QOS. Network design skills, with the ability to plan and implement scalable and secure network architectures. SOC2 knowledge and understanding, with a focus on security and compliance. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask assignments while following process flows. Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and resolve customer issues effectively. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and a proactive approach. Preferred Qualifications CCNA and CCNP certification, demonstrating a strong foundation in networking principles and practices. Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SNMP, syslog, and network performance monitoring software. Familiarity with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
