About the Role: National Sales Specialist We're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven National Sales Specialist to drive sales growth and expand our customer base across the country. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for selling service agreements and proactive maintenance for Critical Power Equipment to end-users. Key Responsibilities: Building Strong Customer Relationships: Establish personal rapport with customers to understand their requirements, build and cultivate prospect relationships, and identify current and future customer needs. Sales Growth: Proactively engage with prospects to develop new accounts and potential clients, and continuously be highly motivated to reach decision-makers. Sales Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present cost estimates by studying all related customer requirements, and work with multiple OEM products and vendors. Account Management: Manage new and prospective clients in our CRM software, develop client relationships, and promote our company's reputation. Independent Work Environment: Work independently within a team environment, and identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources. Additional Responsibilities: Take on other responsibilities as assigned, and be flexible to adapt to changing sales environments. Essential Qualifications: Education: A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Sales Experience: At least 3 years of experience in business-to-business sales is required. Contract Negotiation: Experience in contract negotiation is a big plus. Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to detail and take pride in doing things right the first time. Communication Skills: Excellent people and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and through email. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet software is required; familiarity with a CRM system is also required. Preferred Qualifications: Industry Experience: Knowledge of the critical power equipment industry is preferred. Competitor Knowledge: Understanding of our competitors and current market conditions is an asset. Sales Skills: Ability to handle potential customer objections and rejections with ease, and come up with engaging solutions that address their concerns.
