About the Role
As an Orchestra Teacher at American Dreamer STEM Academy and South Shores Elementary, you will be responsible for teaching music classes to students of various ages and skill levels. Key Responsibilities

Teach music classes to students of various ages and skill levels, including orchestra and other music-related courses

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

Illinois State certificate in music education or a related field
Bachelor's degree in music education or a related field
Ability to function effectively as a member of the school staff and contribute to a positive and supportive school culture
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities


Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications are highly desirable:

Master's degree in music education or a related field
Experience teaching music classes to students of various ages and skill levels
Expertise in orchestra or other music-related areas, such as band or choir
Experience with music technology and software, such as Finale or Sibelius
Ability to speak multiple languages, with a focus on languages spoken by students and families in the school community
