About the Role: MRO Site Representative - Remote As a Remote MRO Site Representative, you will be the pivotal link between our maintenance operations and contracted MRO (Maintenance Repair Organization) services. Your expertise and oversight will ensure that all maintenance tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with our General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and regulatory requirements. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong background in aircraft maintenance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and monitor the activities of contracted MRO services to ensure compliance with Sun Country Airlines' policies and procedures. Act as a liaison between contracted MRO and Sun Country Airlines' Maintenance and Quality Departments, maintaining open and effective communication channels. Review and verify contract MRO invoices and charges in coordination with Maintenance Planning Management. Monitor cost performance of contract maintenance activities and identify areas for improvement. Perform pre-dock, daily work-in-progress, and post-dock surveillance of aircraft undergoing maintenance to ensure all work is done according to Sun Country Airlines GMM. Review completed maintenance items for accuracy and completeness, ensuring adherence to Sun Country Airlines GMM and maintenance provider agreements. Initiate data collection and communication for regulatory and company reports, such as SDR and corrosion reports. Coordinate with Maintenance Planners to ensure efficient execution of mods and heavy check work packages. Ensure Maintenance Providers adhere to agreed-upon delivery schedules and make timely decisions to maintain project timelines. Utilize company computer systems to monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders. Work closely with Maintenance Control personnel to troubleshoot issues requiring special attention. Assist maintenance providers with research and support needed from other Sun Country Airlines departments. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure availability of parts, materials, and special tooling for contracted MRO services. Conduct tasks in a safe and efficient manner, complying with all safety and health regulatory requirements and internal policies. Essential Qualifications: Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate. High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. 3 to 5 years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance or related Technical Operations. Foundational understanding of aircraft scheduled maintenance. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate with inter-departmental personnel. Must be able to travel outside of the United States. Preferred Skills: Previous experience with maintenance on 737 NG aircraft. Experienced in using Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC), Structural Repair Manual (SRM), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), and Maintenance Planning Document (MPD).
