Job Description
As a Mover/Helper at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient relocation of our customers' belongings. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, completing walk-throughs, and communicating professionally in English
Safely operating a 26-foot moving truck and monitoring its functionality
Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is equipped with all necessary tools
Accurately completing move paperwork, including calculating and collecting correct payments
Organizing and securing the moving truck at the end of each move, ensuring it is maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner
Safely moving, packing, and unpacking customer belongings using proper moving equipment and techniques
Serving as the lead mover during the move, obtaining customer feedback to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A professional attitude and demeanor
Experience in general labor, landscaping, construction, or warehouse work (although not required, it is highly desirable)
The stamina to lift heavy items (100 lbs or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc.
Good hand-eye coordination
