Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid/Senior Process Mechanical Designer to join our team, supporting multi-discipline designs for facilities primarily serving the water and wastewater industries. Key Responsibilities
Develop designs in BIM documents utilizing Autodesk Revit or AutoCAD software under the direction of senior design professionals
Collaborate with a team of senior process mechanical designers and BIM Leads to deliver high-quality design solutions
Execute work on wastewater and water utilities and industrial facilities, including treatment plant, pumping station, and bio-system facility planning and design
Conduct field inspections and testing to ensure performance and conformity with plans and specifications
Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables
Support studies, permitting, and alternative analysis, as well as field activities such as site investigations
Essential Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in municipal and/or industrial projects, with a focus on water and wastewater industries
Proficiency in BIM-coordinated design, AutoCAD, and REVIT
Experience with 3D modeling, drawing production, and associated workflows
Strong technical skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and verbally
Excellent communication and writing skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microstation
Previous experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
Familiarity with industry-specific software and technologies
Professional certifications or licenses relevant to the field
